HDR

April 10, 2012

Hello and welcome to a new blog by Inner Frame. It has been a very busy start to our year and we have been on the road again. We have a few more photos on our system which will be uploaded in the near future to our website, and some exciting photo oppurtunities in the pipeline.

So onto the blog.

Although High Dynamic Range photographs have been around since the early days of photography, many people are still just discovering HDR images. The process of taking 3 or more sets of the same photo in a few different settings can bring a new edge to your images. The simple touches of HDR can bring your pictures out of the dark and almost look like paintings.

Giving these photos an extra touch is something that we at Inner Frame absolutely love. We know everyone has different tastes in photography, and that is why we have all of our photos online in three different formats. Please take a look through our website and let us know, what your favourite image is.

Until next time

A simple picture

February 9, 2012

“A picture can say a thousand words”

This is a saying that has been around for centuries. The saying has made its way in to the theatres, into hit movies and even modified quotes of this have appeared in the top ten of the music charts.

“If a picture really does say a thousand words, then why do we hide them away?”

A photo can be a start of a great conversation. You might not like how your hair was that day, or that you were carrying a bit of  “holiday weight” but at the end of the day, the picture is a memory.

Through the age of the digital camera we have lost billions of images because of the “delete” button. It has given us the option to erase memories and to even alter them through photoshop manipulation. We now have multiple ways to showcase photos. From the traditional frames and canvases to cups, mugs and t-shirts.

So next time you are about to hit the delete button, think about what memories you are throwing away

Until next time

The perfect picture

February 3, 2012

Hello and welcome to our blog. Here we hope to bring you a little look into what we get up to behind the website. From hints and tips to our photography trips, you can read it right here.

So on to the blog……..

Photographs have been around since the early 1800′s and have found a way of stirring up emotions and capturing memories of a lifetime. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

R.N.L.I Lady of Hilbre

On the build up to the release of www.innerframe.co.uk to the world-wide web, we travelled to many parts of the country visiting all kinds of places. We got into some hard to reach spots in all kinds of weather and found out that the Mersey River can get a little choppy.

What we set out to accomplish was an image that everyone would be proud to hang on their wall, and I hope we have accomplished this.

Until next time

Framed Memento – Prize Draw

July 13, 2011

Hello !

Now that we are starting to settle into the art of blogging and stuff, we thought we would run a prize draw, all you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is to subscribe to our blog and then we will choose a winner at random.

” What do we win ” I can hear you asking yourselves, well you can win one of our unique 16″ x 12″ mementos, you can use it for any special occasion that you or your family are celebrating, perhaps its an 18th, 21st, 40th or 50th Birthday, an Anniversary or a Wedding even.

If you win, tell us what you want included within the frame and we will create the memento which can be something to be cherished forever!

These mementos are unique as we hold the intellectual property certification to the design of the mount, so what we provide will definately be unique to you.

Should you be fortunate to win the prize draw, we will place details of your special occasion within the four apertures, creating a lasting memory that you can cherish forever.

The closing date for the draw will be midnight on 14th August 2011, but please note that the draw is open to UK residents only.

Good luck and thank you for your interest in what we do.

How was your week?

June 17, 2011

Hiya ! .. Another Friday and another choice as to whether we do a newsletter or write a blog, so decision made, blog it is.

It has been an enjoyable week, last Sunday we took in a visit to the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, we were interested in how frames were put together in days gone by, but we have also become interested in art and photography too, makes sense really, especially as we are framing it every day.
In that one afternoon we satisfied a few of those interests, which was great, especially as it was throwing it down outside ! :)

There was also a unique display of glass dresses and barbed wire corsets in the Craft and Design Gallery by contemporary artist, Diana Dias-Leão.

If your interested in art and photography, pop along to the gallery, you really wont be disappointed.

This week we have been given some artwork to frame, 6th form college stuff, trying to source some ornate mouldings and also coming up with a few great ideas that we will be sharing with you very soon.

We think that we may go on another cultural adventure this weekend but havent decided where as yet, but we will share with you once we have been.

So what are you all upto? We would love to know, whatever it is, have a great weekend :)
